Hard times are coming.
Are you ready?
Living is dangerous.
Living is not for cowards.
Life is like a war.
Everyday is a battle.
You must fight if you want to survive.
You must be strong.
Weak people die early.
Do you want to live?
Get ready for the hard times.
” Life is like a war.
Everyday is a battle.
You must fight if you want to survive” : nice words Rubens.

Greetings,
This is so true, as well as timely. The Bible speaks about perilous times in the last days. As it is written, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come….” [11 Timothy 2:1]
But our only hope of safety is in Christ the Son of God.
Thanks for sharing. May God richly bless you.

Thank you so much. I have no religion, but I like studying all creeds. Everything that makes me better is welcome.

Greetings, Rubens,
I am happy that you said that you have no religion, and do you know what, I have no religion, too. This is one thing we have in common for sure.
However, I have faith in Jesus the Christ the Son of God, who is our heavenly Father and Creator of the heavens and the earth. And I from my heart believe that Christ Jesus died for me, for you and for mankind as a whole, “that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.” [John 3:16]
Christ Jesus is a real friend and a bigger brother to me and to everyone, who wants Him as a Friend, a Brother, a Savior and Redeemer…. And you can get to know Him in a personal way if you would invite Him into your heart to today, by faith.
I am happy that Jesus the Christ came to save sinners like me from sin, the penalty of sin, which is death, and the power of sin. Christ saved and changed my life when I acknowledged that I was a sinner and that I needed a loving savior to save me from sin, and to deliver me completely from bondage to it. It all happened when I went before God (Yahweh) our heavenly Father and confessed my sins in His presence, asked His forgiveness, repented and invited Christ into my heart and life, and by faith He washed all my sins away with His blood, and I became a brand new man in Christ.
And what God has done for me, my friend, He can do for you and even more if you only believe. Please read the following scriptures aloud, which says:
“That if you shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on Him shalt not be ashamed,” [Romans 10: 9-11]
Now that you have read the Word aloud; may the Holy Spirit guide you in your decision making, that is, if you have a desire to follow Christ.
Looking forward to hearing from you. May God richly bless you. Amen.

Trying to be a better person everyday. Trying not to commit the same mistakes. Studying. Learning. Living.

Greetings, Rubens,
While I appreciate that you are, “Trying to be a better person every day,” that would be according to your own standard that you have set and by your own human efforts. But if all of man’s best efforts were to be put together to make one man a better person, in the eyes of God those human efforts should come short of God’s standard of perfection. The only perfect man was Jesus the Christ, whom God His Father sent into this world to die that all who believes on Him should live and be perfected through Him in love. So it is not by your own merit that you would become a better person: rather it is by His grace, which is an unmerited favor that would become a better person. And when you exercise your faith in Christ to make you a better person by simply believing the Infallible Word of God, and you repent of your sins and invite Christ into your life, he would give you a new mind set, and His divine nature to serve the heavenly Father in Spirit and in truth. And by establishing a right relationship with God our heavenly Father and with Christ His Son, you will become that better person that you want to be in Jesus’ name.
Scriptures that help you become a better person, that is, from a sinner to a Saint in Christ
According to the scriptures, “If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Christ HIS Son cleanseth us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His Word is not in us.” [1 John 1:7-10]
Thus to be a better person you need to have the Word of God in you. And the Word of God says that, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” [Romans 3:23] However, when you come to that place where you acknowledge your sins and desire to be better persons, you will need a Savior in the person of Jesus Christ, who has paid it all for your redemption and mine, with His precious blood. And with open arms Christ is saying to you,
“Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest…. “[Matthew 11:28], and
“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” [Matthew 6:37] You heavenly Father has spoken to you through His Word, now, will you come to Christ and receive Him into your heart? That you make the right decision is my prayer in Jesus’ name.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Shalom.

Came here, because of a notification you liked my comment to Restless Jo this week – but I can’t find it. To find out what you liked, I’ll “hear” when you reply to this comment. Did more poetry in the past, and several are the ones I read here – hope you’ll find your way out of that darkness:)

Darkness is in everywhere, mainly inside us. But we have also a light hidden inside us. The goal of the life is to find that light.
